About the department: Pharmacology department is a para-clinical department which is actively involved in teaching and training MBBS students to use the medicines rationally. The department is equipped with latest technological innovations in teaching pharmacology.The department has a simulation laboratory for demonstrating the effects of drugs on various animal tissues using computers. The laboratory is fully equipped for teaching and training MBBS students using in-silico techniques.

The department provides clinically oriented information like using newer drug delivery methods and devices, analysing and reporting Adverse Drug Reactions as a part of curriculum to make the students rational prescribers in future. The department has fully furnished demonstration rooms with all modern audio-visual teaching techniques. All equipments and infrastructures meet the requirements as per Medical Council of India(MCI)norms.

The clinical pharmacology and research laboratory has all the latest and advanced instruments and facilities. The departmental library is well stocked with latest edition of books and national and international journals.
