The Rural Health Training Center (RHTCs),at Jugaur and Urban Health Training Center (UHTC) at Ujariyaon are meant to provide Primary health care services to the enrolled families in the nearby areas and at the same time allow the undergraduate medical students to get exposed to the rural and urban communities by which they can better understand the health issues of the communities, social determinants of health, health seeking behaviors etc., thus helping them to develop a broader perspective with reference to causation of disease and enable them to think not only about the patient but even beyond viz. towards communities at large.
